Last week I was bumpin’ Touch by Eurythmics and Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt!
A fella Aaron Spectre who calls his project Drumcorps released his new album “For Everything”, and it’s everything I like about the guy - heavy, punk-y breakcore with guitars and amen breaks, absolutely nuts!

Another artist I really like, Igorrr, released a very anticipated collection of music titled “Amen”, which is as heavy as it is beautiful!
I’ve recently been obsessed with an EP by Indoc Sequencer, Thoughts on Modern Architecture. I think I posted in How do you find new music? about this, but I found it from a random TikTok that came on my FYP. I love this EP; I’d never heard of Indoc Sequencer before. I think the sound is really clear and refreshing. There’s definitely a bit of nostalgia to the production, but not so much to completely take over all of it. It’s like this album has notes of Barenaked Ladies while still sounding modern. Lucky Four is absolutely my favorite, but I love all these tracks (linked below, YouTube playlist containing the whole EP)
On a whim I watched this video essay on “Trans Music” (as told from the perspective of a cis guy), and one of the musicians covered tickled my curiosity: Stomach Book.
Their most recent (?) album surprised me with a vocal style of music overexertion that was nostalgic.

Specifically it reminded me of some of the Goth’y shite I listened to growing up.
(PS: I’d recommend Skinny Puppy’s album “The Process” as a more digestible starting point if that intrigues you)
I’ve been listening to a smattering of things recently, a little bit of Disasterpiece’s Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar
and TWRP’s Digital Nightmare, among other things

wasn’t there an REM/Daria mashup?
Strangely, my biggest kick lately has been digging into the discography of Arlo Guthrie for really the first time beyond a couple albums. Really underrated dude.
I have been listening to these guys quite a bit since you requested them in Friday Jukebox
Okay this might be a little weird, but so am I. I’ve been listening to Rise FM, the GTA3 trance radio channel, on repeat for the last few days.
Especially the middle 10 minutes or so really soothes my soul.
Been going back to Moloko. Such a cool vibe
I loved Moloko
Forgot to share the cds I was listening to last week:
B52’s Cosmic Thing and Paramore’s Brand New Eyes!
I know Love Shack is the hit on Cosmic Thing but Follow Your Bliss is probably my favourite track overall.
The new Fallujah album is SO GOOD.
Yeah! Honestly wall to wall bangers imo
lately i have been absolutely LOVING the music in Easy Delivery Co., particularly the tracks on 101.7 FM. just some real fuckin’ solid DnB
101.7 FM:
and the other music, also such a vibe:
This album has been a heavy replay for me recently
