Hi! I’m kildorf (or “Shamus” outside of the computer). I make games when I can, and sometimes I even manage to do it professionally. I mostly write code but I dabble to some extent in the rest of game dev, and in whatever else is interesting this month.

I’m MeowKittyWow. I don’t know who Bob is (sounds like a neat channel though) but mostly I saw someone toot about a new forum in the modern era with what looked like agreeable people so I decided to hop in!
I’m a programmer at a small game studio. I also play way too many videogames by night. Favourite genre is boomer shooters, but really any indie game I can finish in a single weekend is my jam these days, haha. I’m Canadian. Metal music is pretty cool? Also I use arch? I’ve been told I’m supposed to say that.

I think some of the most salient things about me are that I am an absolute sucker for a good roguelite or puzzle game, and that I am a huge fan of the music of Tom Fec (TOBACCO/Black Moth Super Rainbow)
I also spend a lot of my time working on various programming projects that may or may not ever see the light of public release, my current set of projects center around processing code as data

I mostly follow old games, the PSX/1 and 2 were my first major consoles with good sized libraries, and even on PC I play games old enough to vote in most jurisdictions 
Outside of games? Man, I don’t know. Got no head up in between these here ears. Write a lot, at one point considered going to school for journalism but found a different path and became a stereotype instead with a tech degree
