I’m Helene (bluesky user @wordbringer.eu ), a European! I have a master’s degree and am trying to do a PhD in philosophy (transcendental phenomenology). Like everyone else here, I need forums to live and have been slowly dying about this for the last 15 years.
I like analog photography, strength training and estrogen.
hello friends, im erin, i got here through bluesky and also bob’s “no such thing as a bad game” vid from a few months back spoke strongly to me
i enjoy a fighting game or several and have posted about them on youtube and other places for close to 2 decades and played them pretty steadily for maybe 3
i do music stuff in my spare time sometimes and i dj on occasion
Hey! I’m Gooey. Big Bob fan. I host the podcast Flashback 64, which covers the Nintendo 64 library. I haven’t used a forum in a long time but we will see how this goes!
I’m usually WatcherJoshua, but let’s scratch that out. This forum is channeling the vibes of the old web (that will hopefully also be the future web), so I’m using my old screenname instead.
I’m Yumil1988 . Nice to meet you! And hello to everyone I recognize from BlueSky (and beyond).
Building websites has been my hobby for more than 20 years. I’m always excited to see what folks are making on the web.
My main personal project is a fan site for Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber - one of my favorite video games that doesn’t have the word “Zelda” in it. I’m also one of the directors of a major Zelda fan site.
I’m excited to see where this community goes in the coming weeks.
Hello, I’m pc2000s, generally most active on bluesky. I used to post as “Y2K-era PC Games Aesthetics" back before deleting twitter. I still do the posts on bluesky, generally little clips from games I love from 1996-2006ish.
i’m zero.
i’m made of metal in real life, i’m a robot in real life.
i like art and character designs, stories, and stuff like that.
and also wild doomsday sci-fi with alien invasions and dolphins. @SeeroftheNight is my sibling and they showed me this forum. @jestpurr is my wife and my evil influence dragged her here.
would post introductory art but… oops! i didn’t make one! disability triumphed this month. maybe next time lmao
Hello, I’m Tijn, long time videogame enjoyer, old internet enjoyer, also a bit of a musician. I host a podcast called DOS Game Club, which is also a community entirely disconnected from Big Tech infrastructure. Very excited to be a part of The Underscore!
Heyyy i’m Cal (she-they-elle (french t-girl yeeee))!
Tbh I stumbled here randomly on bluesky, I didn’t even knew AlienBob before (but now very interested in checking they’re videos)
Anyway i create videogames!! i also do illustration and TTRPGS, and am terrible with engaging online despite my best wishes to build somewhat of a less lonely experience online. So here I am, trying again :)
i like: transing my gender, pathetic and ridiculous cowboys, SOPHIE, astronomy, weird stories, weird games!!
i dislike: games :( gamers, fascists, bars, having to promote myself into nothingness trying to bargain with capitalism
I’m Sammy, a trans woman youtuber of the channel TransWitchReviews who tends to talk about video games quite a lot, I saw Bob posting this on bluesky so thought I’d join up and hopefully contribute to something really cool!
I tend to gravitate a lot towards the PS1/PS2 but especially a lot of japanese games and especially RPG’s and stuff like that but really I just go for whatever draws my attention. Also huge into movies like loooove talking movies with whoever will listen.
Very nice to meet all of ya and excited to see this place grow! :3
I’m into retro gaming and retro development and I really like programming in general, including niche bullshit like programming language and operating system development.
