I do reviews for Hardcore Gaming 101 of obscure and retro games, mostly obscure in my case. My reviews of the Edna & Harvey games, Daedalic Entertainment’s first series, finally went up this week and I found both of them really interesting.
I already showed off some of this in the WIP thread but I think it’s ready to share properly…
I’ve put together a little zine/workbook for rating and reviewing pubs, now available to buy on Etsy!
The idea is to add a fun and slightly thoughtful dimension to pub trips, and allow people to build up a self-curated list of things they like and dislike about the pubs they visit.
It’s currently only available for UK delivery (not sure how well the idea even translates overseas) but if anyone overseas is interested, DM me and I can figure out shipping!
I’m also planning on adding a PDF download, so folks can print and assemble some themselves, but haven’t quite had the time to just yet.
People seem to really like them so far, and it seems like something the crafty/playful folk in here might be into.
I released a new album a few days ago which you’re all welcome to enjoy!
'lo peeps!
It’s coming up to my birthday, and around this time each year, I do a birthday Twitch stream where I do… something something videogames. If you want to join, it’ll be on Tuesday 3rd March, from probs about 9am for as long as I feel like, at https://www.twitch.tv/tatrat815
This year, I have a pretty silly idea:
I’m going to play through Duck Tales on the Gameboy (which I’ve never played before.)
Except; Every time I die, I have to pause that game, and do a complete playthrough of Super Mario Land before I can carry on…
Except; Every time I die in that, I have to complete a game of Tetris, Game B, at Level 9, High 5 (which means max speed from the start, and the game starts mostly full of garbage) before I can continue.
Hopefully it’ll be just the right amount of silly frustration. We’ll see!
I’ve started a blog! Currently called “Seer talks about games” and may be renamed if I come up with something better later. There’s currently 3 posts up for you to read and I’ll likely be updating it frequently at least for a little while.
As a side note, I recommend bearblog.dev if you’re looking for a no-nonsense blogging platform. It’s super simple to set up.
I desperately needed a break from drawing hands (see the game dev thread) so I closed my main project for a week and made a tiny collection of minigames with some Aqua Teen sprites I’d drawn for fun a while back ![]()
Really enjoyed a small, self-contained project, can highly recommend if you feel yourself getting burned out!
If you fancy playing you can find it here

This is such a cool stream concept. Sorry I missed it, but I dropped you a follow and going to checkout the VOD
I’ve finally been working on revamping my twitch channel to return to streaming with a new strawberry cow pngtuber model. Planning a premier stream for 3/15 (my affiliate anniversary) during which I’ll be doing some plotting for Retro Achievements’ Wii rollout event in advance of the rollout on 3/19, and playing a handful of retro games hunting achievements. Might throw some speedrunning practice in there as well (most likely DuckTales NES and SMB3). I’ll probably have a couple test broadcasts throughout the coming week as I get things up and running. Would love to see some of you there ![]()
Are mainstream gaming lists DELIBERATELY ignoring PC gaming history? After years of analyzing the most popular “best games of all time” rankings, I’ve uncovered a disturbing pattern that’s leaving millions of PC gamers worldwide feeling completely erased from gaming culture.
