I have always been a doodler. Particularly when I’m supposed to be listening to something else. Working remotely has only made it worse - I’ve filled tons of sheets at this point. This was a day earlier this week. My current banner is also a rework of a doodle I did at work.

Some doodles I did during my counselling course sessions. The Public Frog is a reference to an Emily Dickinson poem someone quoted in a session.

frog’s expression is entirely too relatable here, I feel like I get their vibe

Does a sketch of David Lynch I did to get used to my new charcoal pencils count as a doodle?

I’d argue anything can be a doodle if the artist defines it as such

God I miss David Lynch

Edit because I forgot the difference between sketch and doodle I need sleep

Doodles of a sort: two pencil sketches I did of comrades defending the local asylum hotel from fascists yesterday. One shows a group of protesters milling around, with some holding Palestine and trans flags, and one resting a cardboard sign on the ground. They are wearing winter clothing - quilted or alpine jackets with hoods, flat caps, bobble hats etc. In the other a smaller group of similarly attired comrades, one of whom is holding up a small placard, stand around being watched by a policeman who has taken the huff because he’s noticed me sketching him.
