Okay so having binged The Vampire Lestat as quickly as I did the two preceding Interview… seasons I think we need a thread for this show, both for general fangirling about how sexy just about everyone in this show is, discussion of the changes between the show, the books and the movie, and speculation on things which haven’t been revealed yet, and how they’re going to tackle Queen of the Damned. So here we go!

I’ll start off with a question of mine: where was Gabriella disappearing to? It was heavily implied during Lestat’s dream-trial that this was going to be important. Was she contacting the Talamasca? Isthat why it was important that she turned Alex? Or was she visiting Akasha and Marius? Judging from her reason for taking Lestat to the witch-burning and their conversation on the beach she’s much more invested in the Great Conversion than Lestat. Or is it both, given that the Talamasca are also apparently in favour of letting the Great Conversion happen?
I need to finish the book so i can watch the lestat season so i can enter this discussion

Im down to yap about anything IWTV/TVL, Im obsessed with these stories and definitely need a chiller space to talk about them!
The nature of Gab’s dealings will definitely be revisited in QOTD, her being in touch with Raglan was a bit of a surprise in the moment, but thinking back, yea makes sense. He maybe views her as an asset through which he can maintain some control over Lestat? Though, I can’t imagine her chatting with Marius, she sees vampirehood as emancipatory freedom, I dont see her sacrificing her time to scheme with old, soulsuckingly boring vampires.
Alex is such an enigma rn, I have 0 idea what’s the deal with him, I don’t understand how he didn’t know Raglan before and was still bouncing between teams… Lots of potential character plot points for next season, that’s for sure.
