i try to be a realist about how HL3 will never happen since all the writers have scattered to the four corners, but at least Erik Wolpaw of Portal fame is writing Deadlock stuff for ‘em.
An Alyx 2 would be a funny sales pitch, though. “Now that we made VR cheap, come get some! It’s half-life!”
You’ve forgotten the most important point.
It’ll sell millions even if it sucks. They don’t need the writers. The game is free money.

“4” is the equivalent of “13” for the japanese IIRC, so they have to skip to “5” just to be safe!
