Tehsnakerer has started a series on the original Dead Rising. Really liked the section in the second part in how much our varied hardware completely changed our experiences with a game. Brought to mind how I first played Max Payne in that botched unofficial version on Steam with bugged audio and how the lack of a score often helped build atmosphere and the darker elements of the story.
