Lately, I’ve really been into Retro Achievements, a site that gives old games achievements.
You could play your favorite classic game and see if you can master it or look for games.
What I really enjoy are the events, they tend to have seasonal events for Halloween and Xmas, but also “Achievement of the Week” and achievement you have a whole week to get.
I recently got into “The Unwanted” an event for games nobody seems to care about that need some love and a “Challenge League” which is like a Pokémon League except you much play games of a certain theme to beat a leader

I should look into this again. I got it setup once a couple years ago and fiddled around with a couple games to test, then kind of forgot all about it.
Having a more guided “challenge” around some of it might keep me more engaged with the idea. Hm.
Oh, some game have special “sets” of challenges, like getting every drop in a JRPGs or beating a boss under special conditions.
Many games have achievements related to doing things differently, like using the weakest weapon, it’s fun.

I’m starting to get into RetroAchievements after seeing a few people do Twitch streams using it. Here’s my profile.
Never knew about the events, I should check those out.
