Not Jam Sympathy Thread

My windscreen wipers broke on the motorway I’m safe and mostly dry but will soon be significantly poorer please send photos of pets/strange creatures you saw in the wild to support me in these trying times

As thanks in advance here’s a picture of a cat someone sent me ages ago - I have no pets so best I can do!

To update - magically started working again as soon as the engineer turned up, best guess motor is unhappy as no other electrical issues and all wiring in good shape

So I’m now £240 poorer and have a mystery issue with my car, but I have made it home at least!

my last car mystery issue was 2500€ so I hope you wont get there for just wipers a year from now

God that’s a rough repair, hope everything’s going ok with the car now!

I don’t use the car often thankfully so can put off my repair for a while, but hoping it won’t be anywhere near that when I do have to take it in :/

Thank you, exactly what I need!

a new light for tire pressure is now a permanent companion (the car doesn’t even have actual pressure sensors)

I guess at least it’s something you can check manually? Must be incredibly annoying to have the light constantly staring at you though, especially bizarre if there’s no proper sensors

turned out the issue was more… human, I turned it off first time I got in the car. It did sound like it was permanent (it was for 600km at least)
