Just finished watching the video. Wonderful job! Really fascinating game, and I appreciate the amount of research you had to do. Kind of want to watch the full documentary on Riot-E now lol.

First thing that came to mind was that one scene from the episode of American Dad where Stan tries to prove you can live on minimum wage (spoilers: he was wrong and suffered for it) where his spiral ends with him huffing poop in a bag with a homeless man in an alley who then propositions him one last job…
