Hello folks, I’m AJ! I came here from the SK the Crusader discord because people in chat were discussing what we do when/if (oh please God let it be when) the coming AI crash takes social media down with it. I have been wanting to get back to old-school forum posting for years so I am well up for this!
I write, mainly poetry but I also blog semi-regularly, and over the past year and a bit I have been learning to draw and have actually gotten pretty good! I released a zine recently which is an illustrated version of one of my poems (a little poetry comic basically, something I’ve wanted to do for decades) and I have another one ready to send to the printers. I also have a YouTube channel where I mainly post videos of my poems, though in recent weeks, as part of a project I was part of, I’ve gotten more ambitious in terms of filmmaking, though more in the Stan Brakhage than Kevin Smith sense. And I fiddle around with synths a bit too.
Outside of creative stuff, I volunteer at my local Recovery College and am studying for a Counselling qualification, and am involved in anti-fascist protesting locally, mainly through attending the regular counter-protests of the local flag-shaggers trying to intimidate the residents of the asylum hotel in town.
I imagine that here I will probably be most active in the wrestling and books threads, but I do game as well.

Hello! I’m Alex, a former full-time games journalist turned amateur dev turned Twitch streamer, I guess. I’ve been streaming a lot as ttv/JuraalPlays; I’ve made some Twine games and Halo maps, and I wrote and edited a chunk of the main quest and wrote some original NPCs for the big Skywind mod a couple years ago. I also wrote the oral history of Morrowind and the Boss Fight book on Knights of the Old Republic back in 2019. This forum seems really cool! Will try to make a habit of checking back a couple times a week.

Hi! I’m Caaz! I’m a game and web developer, and I absolutely miss forums. It’s going to take some time to reset my brain into remembering how to use these, but I’ll do my best to make sure I keep coming back!
I’ll probably be bouncing around here and there among games related discussions or probably art, we shall see! In the meantime I mostly am here to check out the style of things and suggest features I suppose, the webdev in me can’t help it.

By trade I’m a game artist/technical artist but right now I spend a couple of days a week developing my own browser game because I needed to untether myself from every engine and distribution system in the industry or I was gonna lose it.
I like ice coffee, human made art, plants, cool rocks and an ocean view!
