Hey, I’ve got one of those on my desk right now!
I’ve been working my way through the series slowly. Plus gunpla is great for my clumsy ass, I don’t have to worry about messing up paint or glue (until I someday decide to kitbash something funny).

I’ve watched most of UC Gundam. Currently watching Victory. My favourites are Zeta and 0080. I have a few HGUC gunpla.

I got 00, SEED, 0079, War in the Pocket, Unicorn, and some other stuff under my belt. Since I had a lot of time in my youth, bereft of connections, I have a lot of kits across all the series. Most recent watch would be Zeta since I’m all over that dark sequel business. The designs of that series kick ass.
Most of what I’ve got is storage or boxes for space right now, so some stuff I can’t show off and still a lot in my backlog I need to get around to like the Hyakuri, Calibarn, a couple Woundwort bootlegs, the Figure Rise Standards of Suletta and Miorine. Also ignore the Getter Arc lol.
But I do just have the Gundam brain rot in general outside of just the kits. I liked G Gundam back in the Toonami days, but only got back into when AGE was airing. And I absolutely fell in love with UC in my 20’s after reading Ecole Du Ciel and watching War in the Pocket. WitP and the original Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 ended become two of my all time favorite anime, and ended being pretty fond of Zeta, CCA, F91, Hathway, Iron Blooded Orphans, and Reconguista in G as well. Have a bit of a love hate relationship with AGE and GQuuuuuux, and despite my frustrations with The Witch from Mercury’s second cour it ultimately has a special place in my heart and it ended up renewing my interest in gunpla and just anime in general, really getting me back into both. But still a lot of blind spots like Wing, Turn A, ZZ, Victory, Seed, etc. that I need to get around too though.
Just started doing a group watch of 0079 (and well rewatch for me) with one of my partners and really happy fae seems to be enjoying it so far. And I’m probabally going to be rewatching Zeta soon too since some old friends wanna do an RPG campaign in that timeframe of UC.
Is anyone else still looking forward to the second Hathaway movie? Any thoughts of GQuuuuuux?

exciting, albeit violent!
I haven’t gotten into collecting Gundam yet, but I’ve been watching everything from the beginning after watching Witch from Mercury and for the most part it’s been pretty good, I’ve watched everything that was released since 0079 up until Victory and will probably start G-Gundam soon, and other than Stardust Memory which is garbage and incredibly boring, I have liked everything, there’s been things I’ve been mixed on, like I loved Victory but it’s definitely a show that is weird about women, there’s obviously that one weird scene, if you know you know, but also most women in it exist just to get fridged which is just weird, in a way despite being more patriarchal 0079 treats it’s women with a lot more respect, Zeta was kinda mixed but not as bad as Victory and also Emma should have survived I will die on this hill.
Exactly how I feel. That world and those characters deserved better, and the Lfrith and Aerial are my favorite MS designs.
I’m hoping to start watching UC stuff with my partner soon.
Also my MG Tallgeese fell and requires a bunch of gluing so it’s in a box now. This sucks because it’s my favorite to look at.
Incredible birthday gift. Combined with the free time over the holidays, looks like I’m in for a great time.
