I’m working on a virtual pet website in the same vein as Neopets so I’m joining everyone on the nostalgia train!
It features 3d pets, dressup, minigames, a forum, pretty much what you expect from a virtual pet site. I’m using three.js and angry spite in order to make it.
A friend is helping me with the backend and programming and thanks to this it’s actually all working currently, it’s not just mockups 
very happy about that. You can create a pet, dress it up and go exploring for resources currently. Once I iron out all the bugs I’m moving on to a crafting system among other things. A preview of the 3d pet can be seen at umbra.pet
I’m doing this in order to keep myself sane in an insane world. Nothing about commercial game dev makes sense right now so I’m hiding in the past.
