What is your favorite Wisteria Lane disaster?
I’m partial to the plane crashing into Santa’s Village myself just for its absurdity.
oh, god, that’s a good question…
honestly, I cant think of a Wisteria Lane based disaster that tops the plane crash… you really cant compete with that.
for a lesser “disaster” (specific to the van de kamps), I might put forth “Bree sending her pregnant daughter to a nunnery in the 21st century”. not the whole underage pregnancy… not Bree faking her pregnancy… just the nunnery. it tickles me. what the hell? a nunnery???

who amongst these most desperate of housewives do you think would win in a fight?

I watched this with my wife over the last few years and was floored by the amount of crazy that hit the street. Yet the bit that confounded me the most was Orson’s wife falling out of a 2nd story window into a bush… and this being enough to kill her outright when other character survive tornados, plane crashes and god only knows what else.

its incredible. tornados, plane crashes, being SHOT in a grocery store- if you’re a main character, you’re nigh impervious! but… if you’re a background character… good luck, your days are numbered.
It would be between Gabrielle, who grew up on the streets, and Edie, who’s not afraid to play dirty.

The plane crash is great, but for me it would be either the riot in season 7 or Carolyn’s uhm… stroll through the supermarket in season 3. These two always have me on the edge of my seat no matter how often I watch them.
Network tv used to do that in so many shows. I don’t know, maybe it was the length/number of seasons combined with the “we need to top last season” mentality, but there are shows where so much unbelievable crazy stuff happens. I adore Grey’s Anatomy, but I would not send anyone that I love to that hospital, ever.

I’d recommend LifeSigns: Surgical Unit for the Nintendo DS. That or Trauma Center, though the first one is more soap opera-y, while the second focuses heavily on being a surgeon simulator.
