If you’ve been living under a rock LIKE THE SHEEPLE, then you should know that The Onion finally purchased InfoWars from the stupid and ugly criminal Alex Jones. He got sued and obliterated (financially) for his heinous crimes of victim blaming and harassing school shooting victim families, and The Onion joked about stealing his precious crony network from him, which they finally did.
Since July, they’ve been running a youtube channel and many social media accounts under “Real InfoWars” and have been killing it with great shorts from a variety of comedians and talent and two lead shows hosted by Tim Heidecker doing a Jones impression and the latest chapter in the twisted tale of Jim Haggerty, a long running Onion character you may know from their incredible Porkin’ Across America series (which I highly recommend you watch because this new series spoils the twist in the intro).
Worth noting that this is partly an attempt to make a new comedy outlet, which is desperately needed due to Joe Rogan and his stinky Austin racists controlling most of the comedy industry right now, and an attempt to raise money for the families of Sandy Hook that Jones harassed in the first place.

Feel free to watch the full streams or posted shows as you wish, I’m just going to share a few shorts here. Worth noting that the Jim Haggerty Show shorts aren’t just comedically edited clips from an episode, but include bits that weren’t in the episode, playing into a running joke of the idea of there being full 8-hour episodes (there are not).

We were given an outline of how to raise a proper Alpha son (with special guest the InfoWars Elf, all hail him)
Tim made a hilarious and meticulously detailed parody of Joe Rogan’s awful podcast. The sheer amount of details lifted from that podcast to paint them as the unfunny clowns they are is really impressive, even down to the tangents caused by a lack of researching a topic, Rogan and friends constantly glazing each other while not actually making any jokes, and Tim’s character instantly getting upset and combative when a guest suggests an Epstein connection in a topic (insert walled garden and in the builderberg group jokes here)
Tim revealed a new series meant to show off various short videos contributors have made for the InfoWars network, with Tim’s contribution being bizarre, Lynchian office skits. Content warning for this one, a man does fuck a cake in one of the shorts and more is shown then you would expect.

We also have another new series called Nerve Center that I am also going to give a content warning due to a skit about a VR simulation of Mark Zuckerberg on the Joe Rogan Experience causing a suicide and also for historically accurate chess pieces having large cartoon dongs (but not curvy because that is feminine).
This ended up being my favorite of the recent InfoWars output because it’s directed by Alan Resnick of Wham City fame, a guy who’s been online and at Adult Swim making some really bizarre stuff, so his directing style really comes in play here to make a comedy show that feels occasionally disorienting (in a good way). They also got Patti Harrison as the female host and that might be the best casting imaginable. She’s a trans actress who was on I Think You Should Leave, so she brings a really manic energy and a lot of mood shifts to her performance. My favorite bit is when doing the Nerve Center pledge to show loyalty to InfoWars and starts slipping into a tone that suggests a threat when pledging to talk sweetly about InfoWars in her marital bed.
