Game Collecting Megathread

I may have played a pirated version of MML PC once. I do enjoy lesser known ports myself.

Speaking of lesser known, a thrift store nearby had this lying around for almost nothing. Video CD isn’t games, but them being Philips CD-i branded has to count for something, right?

Got these from Strictly Limited during a recent sale. It’s officially licensed repros, but tbh half the reason I got them was because I have an original copy of Mega Turrican that for some reason keeps freezing, which hasnt happened with any other game I’ve tried on my Genesis.

Darius Extra Version is a newish port of the original arcade game that I think was initially done by M2? I’ve never played the original but it seems fun and I heard this was a good port of it.

My retro buying has slowed down a lot in recent years but I wasn’t able to pass clear DMG model up. And lucky me there’s really minor cosmetic damage on the back which lowered the price :smiling_face_with_horns::smiling_face_with_horns::smiling_face_with_horns: (plus, who looks at the back of the Gameboy while they play?)

My PS3’s bluetooth/wifi bit the dust right when I was going to replay Demon’s Souls and I think I want to get a new one instead kf trying to repair it since that chip(?) is on the motherboard (I think), but PS3s are hard to come by in my area. Is that true everywhere?

I am trying to purchase a Wonderswan at this moment

Good luck! I should look into getting one myself…

I did manage to purchase one, a skeleton pink base model. I will get a color at a later date

I wanna play cardcaptor sakura and a few other games on it

I don’t currently have a SNES or Mega Drive (yet) but these were some nice finds.
