I love this thread! Always down for more bugs! Haven’t seen many bugs in person recently, but I’ve always loved this Weta Beetle eating a carrot: ![photograph of a Weta Beetle sat on a hand, happily eating a carrot. It Looks almost impossibly large for an insect, easily matching the span of the hand. It has a mottled brown colouration and spines across its body.](https://theunderscore.xyz/uploads/default/original/2X/e/e225174a48f6644a00cdffc935bf68269d83797d.jpeg) How is it so large? It’s magnificent! We’ll be coming up on bug season here soon, I usually get a bunch of dragonflies as I live on the riverbank so I’ll share pictures if there’s any good ones 🙂 (we also have a [spider thread on the forum here](https://theunderscore.xyz/t/spider-thread/517/16) if anyone hasn’t already seen!) --- _[View the full topic](https://theunderscore.xyz/t/bugs-bugs-bugs-bug-bug-thread/1018)._
